GENERAL Features
Get up and running quickly
You provide us with the name and call sign of your vessel, and our team will set up documentation for your vessel based on the type and size of the vessel within a few days. Our team can also help with adding vessel specific documentation and maintenance data.
Easy to use on all screen sizes
Nova Safe is designed to work on all screen sizes such as Desktop, Tablet and Mobile phones.
User membership based
Top level users can assign user membership to individual vessels and company units.
Efficient workflow and good overview
Nova Safe provides a Control Panel to give overview of all vessels and tasks you are a member of. Each vessel also has a Dashboard for a good overview of key information and tasks for each vessel.
Permission based units
A user will be provided with an access level for each vessel. Access levels range from 1-7. Users can see and do actions based on access level.
Copy, move & connect data between units
If you have multiple vessels you can connect documents between the vessels for an efficient workflow.
Email notifications
Nova Safe sends email notifications when important actions happen and when tasks are closing expiration.

Define the qualifications required for each position on your vessels and instantly see whether every crew member holds the right certificates. Nova Safe highlights gaps and expiring credentials so you can act before compliance becomes an issue.
Onboard logs
Onboard logs get created automatically by clicking a button to set users on board and off. Users can then see all their onboard logs on their control panel with the option to export to excel.
Job positions
Job positions are integrated in multiple parts on Nova Safe with the ability to assign maintenance jobs to all users of a position and assign reading to positions.

Ship and company management have a comprehensive overview of status on reading on all users and can easily assign reading to positions. This gives the option to optimize reading so that users only need to read relevant documentation to their position.

Whenever a document is edited, a new version is automatically created. Users can compare revisions to see what is changed when and by whom.
Approval workflow

Commenting
Nova Safe provides the ability for users to add comments to most content types. When comments are added email notifications are sent to both ship and company management. Commenting allows for a quick dialog between users and helps make sure good quality documentation.
